Philippines Income Tax Calculator
Estimate regular monthly compensation withholding or annual graduated income tax from taxable income. These are different calculations; choose the basis that matches your records.
Tax brackets used by this calculator
The monthly BIR withholding table and annual graduated schedule apply from 1 January 2023 onward. They use different thresholds; monthly withholding is not a final annual return calculation.

How to use the Philippines Income Tax Calculator
- Read the scope and choose the correct period and salary basis.
- Enter amounts in Philippine pesos. Replace the example values with your own planning figures.
- Select Calculate estimate, then compare each output with your records.
Worked example
For ₱50,000 of monthly taxable compensation, the monthly table gives ₱1,875 plus 20% of the excess over ₱33,333: ₱5,208.40. For ₱600,000 of annual taxable income, the annual schedule gives ₱22,500 plus 20% of ₱200,000: ₱62,500. The two results need not equal exactly after multiplying by twelve.
Method and limitations
Your gross pay, taxable compensation and net bank credit describe different amounts. Identify the pay period, separate exempt items and check the employee contributions or other allowable exclusions used by payroll. Entering your gross salary as taxable income can overstate the result. If you already have taxable compensation on a payslip, do not deduct the same contributions a second time.
The estimate does not perform annualization, calculate minimum-wage-earner exemptions, determine residence or citizenship, apply final taxes or special regimes, or prepare a return. Supplementary compensation, fringe benefits and unusual payments can require separate handling. The annual option is a graduated-rate illustration for income to which that schedule applies, not a freelancer 8% election calculator.
