Start with the right records
For take-home pay, begin with the monthly payslip and separate cash earnings, exempt items, employee contributions and after-tax deductions. For contributions, confirm the membership category and salary definition. For 13th-month pay, add actual basic salary earned during the calendar year. For a loan, read the lender quotation and identify its rate method before entering figures.
Calculation scope
This first release focuses on regular private-sector employee planning and a general peso-loan illustration. The tax tool separates monthly withholding from annual graduated tax. SSS uses a selected monthly salary credit from the cited employer/employee schedule. The combined contribution tool uses separate PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG bases. Each guide explains exceptions and what its tool leaves out.
